Waffles
Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour (275 ml)
- 2 tsp baking powder (10 ml)
- 1/2 tsp salt (2 ml)
- 2 egg yolks
- 1 1/2 cups milk (325 ml)
- 4 tbsp vegetable oil (60 ml)
- 2 egg whites
Directions:

Combine flour, baking powder and salt. In a small bowl, combine beaten egg yolks, milk, and oil. Make a well in the centre of the dry ingredients and pour liquid all at once. Stir quickly until it comes freely from side of bowl. Beat egg whites until stiff but not dry; fold into batter. Pour about 1/2 cup in a hot waffle iron and cook for about 5 minutes or until golden brown.
